Nicolaus August Otto

When Nicolaus August Otto was sixteen, he dropped out of school to work as a clerk in a grocery in Holzhausen. Later, he became a traveling salesman selling sugar, kitchenware, and tea. When he crossed the Belgian-French border, he came across an engine built by Belgian expatriate Jean Joseph Etienne Lenoir. This double-acting engine could produce two horsepower from an 18-liter tank.

Edouard Delamare-Debouteville

Edouard Delamare-Debouville is the inventor of the first car. His vehicle has four wheels and an open platform at the rear for the driver and passengers. The vehicle was powered by a four-stroke internal combustion engine. His car made its first public appearance in February 1884, traveling from Fontaine-le-Bourg to Cailly.

Since the first Benz automobile was introduced to the world in 1908, the name has been synonymous with luxury and quality. Although rival Daimler-Benz has a long and distinguished history of building fine automobiles, it has never come close to matching the prestige of the Mercedes-Benz brand. For example, it offers hybrid engines, which are more fuel-efficient and produce less pollution than conventional gasoline engines.

Tesla

The Tesla automobile is an electric vehicle that has become incredibly popular over the past few years. In fact, sales of the Tesla sedan rose sharply in 2019. Despite ongoing losses, the company continues to make strides in technological innovation and quality. It has also devoted several patents to its fans and customers.
