Entertaiment and Science

Entertaiment is the state of being captivated in the moment by the beauty, joy and happiness of something. It can be a great way to relieve stress, a powerful tool for learning and even lead to highbrow growth. However, it can also be a negative force that leads to depression and other problems. The word entertainment has a wide range of meanings and can be traced back to the Medieval Latin intertenere, which means “to hold inside.”

The SU2C model of collaboration among world-class scientists is one example of how the arts, media and entertainment can have positive impacts on our societal needs.
